Health and Safety, Emergency Contacts
We recommend that students use their parents, husbands, wives, or other next of kin as their emergency contacts. This ensures that in the event of an emergency, all information will be distributed to the right people concerned. Be sure to provide your emergency contacts and your home institutions to your volunteer overseas contact persons.
Insurance
All volunteers should have a comprehensive travel, accident insurance. If you pay for you flight with a credit card it may include insurance. Find out with your travel agent and Credit Card Company.
